The former prime minister has sported an informal match that is delighting Twitter – and the culture secretary joins in.
Culture secretary Nadine Dorries has warned about purchasing tickets from touts – by tweeting a viral picture of former prime minister David Cameron.
On Sunday, the ex-Tory leader and their wife Samantha of his have been pictured in matching tartan as they viewed an amateur horse racing event in Gloucestershire.
The picture quickly evolved into the foundation of any meme on social networking, with numerous joking. Cameron’s outfit is like the type of shady character you may see at a pub or maybe automobile boot sale.
And Cabinet minister Dorries, who described her one-time party leader as an “arrogant posh boy”, joined in the fun.
She wrote: “Whether it is a significant music festival, sporting concert or event, individuals must spend a reasonable price to find out the events they enjoy. Please remain aware when contemplating buying from ticket touts. Guidance can be obtained in case you’re unsure.”
Last week, Dorries accused a Tory MP who promises to experience faced “intimidation” from the party of theirs of “attention-seeking behaviour”.
Most people talked about a comment made by the same politician who previously came out on I am A Celebrity … Get Me From Here and consumed ostrich anus on television.
At any rate, Dorries seemed to be continuing with using the opinion in her ribbing.
