Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday Updated list of nearly 1,000 Americans In response to the severe sanctions imposed by Western nations on the brutal invasion of Ukraine in February, predominantly symbolic slaps were permanently banned from entering the country.
Like Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and Army General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Biden had already been banned from visiting Russia since mid-March.
However, the updated list includes Vice President Kamala Harris and Biden’s son Hunter Biden, who is suffering from scandals. Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg and former Secretary of State and First Lady Hillary Clinton.
Actor Morgan Freeman and billionaire investor George Soros are also on the list. Charitable support for Soros’s liberal cause, and a group of former Soviet blocks, made him a Boogeyman, both Russian and right-wing conspiracy theorist.
Jen Psaki, Biden’s White House spokesman until this month, posted an ironic tweet about the list on Saturday night. He said, “August family trip to Moscow will have to be cancelled …”
Trump was not on the list of 963 banned Americans.
For many years, Trump has praised Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and criticized Russia’s investigation into Russia’s intervention in the 2016 US presidential election, which ended with Trump’s victory over democratic rival Clinton.
In 2019, Trump withdrew parliamentary military aid to Ukraine and asked then-elected president of the country, Volodymyr Zelensky, to investigate Joe Biden, then the White House’s main Democratic candidate. He was accused of putting pressure on him to announce.
After the Senate trial, Trump was acquitted.
Saturday morning In an interview with Fox NewsTrump once again grasped the Russian investigation.
“This is one of the biggest political scandals in history,” Trump said. “Where can I regain my reputation?”
A Trump spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment on his dropout from Russia’s travel ban list.
Former President Barack Obama and Vice President Mike Pence of Trump are also not on the list, but Pence’s brother Greg Pence is banned.
So are Greg Pence’s 211 Republicans in the House and Senate, as well as 224 members of both parliaments.
Members of the GOP House on the ban list included two hardcore, Republican Trump supporters, Matt Gaetz of Florida and Paul Gosar of Arizona.
Also making the list are two Democrats with a very progressive policy stance that is an aversion to Trump World. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez of New York and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
So is house speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif), who was banned from communion from the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Francisco this week because of his support for the right to abortion.
In a statement released by Russia’s state news agency RIA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “Russia’s counter-sanctions are of a compulsory nature and aim to force the governing US government to change its behavior.” He states and acknowledges the “new geopolitical reality.”
The ministry also accused the United States of trying to impose a neocolonial “rule-based world order” on other parts of the world.
The ministry said the “hostile action” taken by the US government was “boomerang has returned to attack the United States itself” and “will continue to receive appropriate rejections.”
Russia has also banned hundreds of Canadians, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, and hundreds of members of the British Parliament.
