Former Chairman of Marvel Entertainment, Ike Perlmutter disneyHis spokesperson said he plans to make a significant donation to help former President Donald Trump run for president in 2024.
Perlmutter has yet to decide how much he plans to donate to Trump’s candidacy, but a spokesman for the businessman said on Thursday that the funding was “meaningful.”
Perlmatter and Trump have had a close relationship for more than 20 years. Perlmutter had previously donated $10.5 million to pro-Trump super PACs during the 2020 election, according to Federal Election Commission records. Perlmutter’s wife also donated $10.5 million to the same PAC, according to records.
Perlmutter also acted as an outside adviser to then-President Trump on issues related to the Department of Veterans Affairs. according to to ProPublica.

A Disney representative told the WSJ that the company’s general counsel called Mr. Perlmutter to tell him that he had been fired because of the company’s extensive cost-cutting efforts. Perlmutter told the magazine he does not remember having received such a call.
